How much weight can I safely lose in a week?
The simplest way to lose weight can be done through the burning of more calories than you consume. There are many factors that influence your goal: How much cardiovascular exercise do you do? How many meals do you eat per day? How many calories do you eat? How much do you weigh currently? If you exercise and eat right, a realistic and healthy weight loss of 1-2 lbs of fat if to be expected per week. A weight loss of around 6-8 lbs of fat per month can be achieved with exercise and nutrition, averaging around 1.5 -2 inches lost around the abdominal area and 1-1.5 inches off the hip area.
How many calories should I eat in an average day?
The average Canadian consumes far more calories than the recommended 2000 calorie diet. Making modifications to your diet can be simple, use lower fat and lower calorie foods and beverages. Use 1 percent milk instead of 2 percent milk in your cereal, drinking more water instead of a sugared soda, or enjoying steamed or boiled vegetables instead of fried or creamed vegetables. These simple substitutions help bring meals in line with Health Canada Guidelines.
How long do the workouts last?
The workouts last 1 hour, and is recommended to be done 2 to 3 times a week.
How long will it take for me to see results?
If you are fully committed to your fitness plan and don’t relapse out of it, you’ll see progress within the first week. Your overall success will greatly depend on how frequent you are working out. If you follow the plan and stick to your nutrition program, you can expect to see significant progress toward your goals within 4-8 weeks. Depending on how far you have to go and to what level you would like to get also plays a roll in results: for example, if you want to lose 100 pounds, 4-8 will bring significant progress but it may still take much longer to reach your ultimate goal.
